Hygreen Energy Supplies 25MW Electrolyzer for Shandong Hydrogen Project

Hygreen Energy, a leading electrolyzer manufacturer, has delivered a 25-Megawatt electrolyzer system to Huadian Weifang Power Generation Co., Ltd. in China. This marks a significant milestone for the largest hydrogen production initiative in the Shandong region.

The system is designed to produce 3.6 tons of hydrogen daily with 99.999% purity. It integrates storage solutions and advanced distribution systems. Each of the five 5MW electrolyzer stacks was manufactured by Hygreen Energy.

Located at Huadian Weifang's power plant, the project aims to reduce renewable energy waste and enhance grid resilience. Hydrogen will be used for on-site refueling and mixed with natural gas for various applications. The initiative aligns with China's "Hydrogen Into Ten Thousand Homes" strategy.

CEO Benny Wang emphasized the project's role in advancing renewable energy and electrolyzer technology. Hygreen Energy is expanding its hydrogen sector presence, with a recent contract for another 40-MW system.
