Hypromag USA Appoints Linda Lourie to Advisory Board

CoTec Holdings Corp. and Mkango Resources Ltd. announced the appointment of Linda Lourie to the Advisory Board of HyProMag USA LLC, effective June 20, 2024. Lourie’s extensive background in science and technology policy is expected to aid HyProMag USA in its efforts to secure US Government funding and establish long-term commercial relationships in the US market.

CoTec CEO Julian Treger highlighted Lourie’s unique experience, noting its relevance to HyProMag's technological advancements. Mkango CEO Will Dawes echoed Treger's sentiments, emphasizing the significant opportunities in the US market for rare earth magnet recycling.

Lourie expressed enthusiasm about contributing to HyProMag USA’s mission to ensure a sustainable domestic supply of rare earth magnets via the patented Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap (HPMS) technology. Her prior roles include Assistant Director for Research and Technology Security in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and various advisory positions.
