I.Ceram 2024 Half-Year Results
I.Ceram has published its financial results for the first half of 2024, marking a significant 46% drop in its turnover, from €606k to €326k. This drop is attributed to the loss of certification of certain products, due to the difficulties encountered with the MDR. Despite an increase in operating loss, this was contained thanks to a reduction in expenses.
Net income stood at -€621k, compared to -€355k the previous year. In 2023, a capital gain on the sale of a subsidiary had mitigated the deficit. The company is continuing its strategy of focusing its efforts on the development of new ceramic implants.
Furthermore, I.Ceram is currently under receivership proceedings, with a hearing scheduled for November 20, 2024, for the presentation of a restructuring plan.
