ALIKO SCIENTIFIC Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Menarini Diagnostics
ALIKO SCIENTIFIC, through its Italian subsidiary Hospitex International, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Menarini Diagnostics. This agreement targets the Italian market, involving the distribution of ALIKO's product portfolio, which includes FISH technology and Hospitex’s cytology and rapid immunohistochemistry products.
Menarini Diagnostics, a leader in in vitro diagnostics (IVD) distribution, will enhance its offerings, complementing its current solutions for pathology laboratories. Hospitex estimates Italy's market for cytology and cell block products at €28 million annually, aiming to capture a significant market share within three years.
ALIKO's CEO, Francesco Trisolini, views the partnership as a key milestone to broaden market reach and improve diagnostic capabilities. Menarini's Fabio Piazzalunga sees this collaboration as aligning with their strategic vision to advance oncology diagnostics in Italy.
