Implenia Secures Major Hotel Construction Contract in the Swiss Alps

Implenia, a leading Swiss construction and real estate service provider, has been appointed as the total contractor for a new hotel and residences project in Andermatt. This development is a part of the broader Andermatt Reuss project by Andermatt Swiss Alps AG. The initiative aligns with the "Prime Alpine Destination" vision, which aims to create attractive living spaces in the region.

The project, valued at over CHF 200 million, aligns with Implenia’s strategic focus on complex projects, leveraging its specialist skills and commitment to sustainability. The hotel will feature 66 rooms, 164 apartments, and a spa, spread across three interconnected buildings. The construction will incorporate sustainable solutions such as district heating and photovoltaic cells.

In addition to the Andermatt project, Implenia has secured contracts for residential developments and community infrastructure in Switzerland. These projects are scheduled between autumn 2024 and 2025, reinforcing Implenia's position in building construction within the region.
