Innomotics Powers Green Hydrogen Research in the USA

Innomotics GmbH has secured a significant order from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Colorado to supply rectifier power systems for their green hydrogen electrolyzer facility. The NREL has ordered three Innomotics PR150 rectifiers, which will be installed at a premier energy test facility by 2026.

This initiative highlights Innomotics' contribution to advancing green hydrogen technology, a crucial element in reducing CO₂ emissions and promoting renewable energy. The demand for cost-effective hydrogen technologies like the PR150 is expected to grow as they play a vital role in the global hydrogen economy.

The PR150, designed for high efficiency, supports both low- and medium-voltage applications, catering specifically to hydrogen electrolyzers with power ranges of 5 to 16 MW. The units will be manufactured in Nuremberg and delivered to the U.S. for installation. This project marks a pivotal step in supporting decarbonization goals across various sectors.
