Innovative partnership for THC-infused seltzers in Houston market
Bayou City Hemp Company and Silver Eagle Distributors Houston are introducing a line of cannabis-infused non-alcoholic beverages to the Houston market. This initiative stems from BCHC's recent acquisition of 8th Wonder brewery, distillery and cannabis company. Products, including HOWDY, Lil Bit, Beach Break and Wonder Water, will be available across Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties.
Bayou City Hemp and 8th Wonder CEO Ben Meggs hailed the partnership as a milestone for the beverage industry, while Tom Montague, vice president of sales at Silver Eagle Houston, highlighted the innovation brought to the local market. This alliance builds on Silver Eagle Houston's broad reach and consumer trust in Bayou City Hemp and 8th Wonder, aiming to expand the availability of these safe and effective beverages.
Compliant with the Federal Farm Bill of 2018 and Texas HB 1325, these beverages containing hemp-derived Delta 9 THC are produced via a CO2 extraction process and nano-emulsion technology. Product quality and safety are key factors in the success of these drinks on the Texas market.
