Interroll Reports Solid Performance amid Slight Market Improvement
Interroll Holding AG, based in Sant’Antonino, Switzerland, reported an 8.5% rise in its results, reaching CHF 23.9 million in the first half of 2024. Despite a challenging environment, order intake was CHF 286.5 million, while sales totalled CHF 247.4 million. The company experienced a rebound in the product business.
Regional performance varied. The EMEA region achieved order intake growth of 17%, contributing 60% of total sales. The Americas saw a decrease in order intake by 30%, while the APAC region's order intake dropped by 14.4%.
Product group performance showed mixed results. Sales for Rollers decreased by 2.4%, while Drives increased by 5.2%. Conveyors & Sorters saw a decline of 12.7%, and Pallet Handling experienced a minor drop of 1.4%.
Innovation and strategic moves marked the period. Interroll introduced the energy-efficient vertical small wheel sorter (MC-Vs) at the LogiMAT trade fair in Germany. Additionally, the company acquired Interroll India Pvt. Ltd., strengthening its presence in the Indian market.
Looking forward, Interroll is optimistic. The company aims to leverage its strong customer base and regional positioning to capitalize on future market recovery, with significant opportunities anticipated in EMEA and the Americas.
