Investors Can Now Convert Gazprom ADRs Into Shares – Urgent Deadline Approaches

Stuttgart, August 22, 2024 – Holders of American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) from Russian companies now have a limited time to convert them into shares. Citibank, Deutsche Bank, and JP Morgan have opened books for conversion, and now BNY Mellon joins in. Western investors can convert their Gazprom ADRs into shares by September 20, 2024.

Maximilian Weiss, Managing Director of WEISSWERT, states, “This opportunity is significant for small investors who had lost hope. They can now exchange their ADRs for shares.”

Investors must have an account with the Russian National Settlement Depository (NSD) and complete the conversion within 10 days of handing over their ADRs to BNY Mellon. Failure to comply will result in the ADRs being returned.

Eligible DRs for conversion include Acron, Aeroflot, Cherkizovo Group, Gazprom, Lukoil, and more. WEISSWERT supports investors in navigating the conversion process, protecting their interests with relevant authorities.
