IONOS Group SE Reports Strong Growth for 2025’s First Nine Months

IONOS Group SE announced a substantial rise in its financial and customer metrics for the initial nine months of 2025. The period saw the customer base expand by 210,000, totaling 6.53 million clients. Revenue surged by 6.2% to reach €980.2 million, while adjusted EBITDA soared by 20.8% to €368.5 million, with a margin improvement to 37.6%. Earnings per share increased by 40.6%, reaching €1.35.

In a strategic pivot, IONOS plans to divest Sedo GmbH, its AdTech segment, to sharpen its focus on core areas: Web Presence & Productivity and Cloud Solutions. This move reclassifies the AdTech unit as a discontinued operation under IFRS 5.

The company reaffirmed its forecast for 2025, projecting an 8% rise in revenue and a 35% adjusted EBITDA margin. CEO Achim Weiß emphasized this shift aligns with their AI-focused initiative, IONOS Momentum, which aims to democratize AI access.
