Irving Resources and JX Metals Sign Option Agreement in Japan
Irving Resources Inc. has announced an Option Agreement with JX Advanced Metals Corporation. This agreement allows JX Metals to acquire a 75% interest in certain properties of Irving located in Omu, Hokkaido, focusing on precious metal-bearing silica deposits. The agreement includes Omu Sinter Pit and Omuisenbu, with specific exploration depth conditions.
JX Metals, known for its operations in nonferrous metals, aims to invest at least 300 million yen in exploration over three years to exercise the option. Irving will serve as the operator under this agreement.
Irving's CEO, Akiko Levinson, expressed optimism in this new collaboration, highlighting the potential expansion of their silica flux resources in Japan. The Omu project represents a strategic endeavor aligned with both companies' goals in precious metal extraction and silica refinement for smelting.
