Jaguar Mining Launches 5,000-Meter Drilling Program at Pilar Mine

Jaguar Mining Inc. has announced a strategic 5,000-meter directional diamond drilling program at its Pilar Mine in 2026. The initiative aims to explore and define over 500,000 ounces of new gold resources, expanding known mineralization at depth. The project follows successful high-grade gold intercepts in the BA Zone, suggesting substantial potential at deeper levels.

The program is structured into three phases, focusing initially on the BA Zone with an aim of discovering approximately 90,000 ounces of gold. Following phases will target extensions into LPA and BF Zones, and deeper BA Zone layers, with projected discoveries of 375,000 and 55,000 ounces, respectively. These efforts could significantly boost the Pilar Mine's resource base and lifespan.

Jaguar's geological confidence is underscored by structural models of the Iron Quadrangle, known for its prolific mineral systems. The company anticipates that this drilling program will enhance Pilar's contribution to its production profile, playing a critical role in long-term growth strategies.
