Jiangxi Province Unveils Itself in Malaysia to Promote Its Cultural and Tourist Heritage
On April 18, 2024, the Jiangxi Southeast Asia Culture and Tourism Promotion Season was launched at the Chinese Cultural Center in Kuala Lumpur. The "Jiangxi Day" event highlighted the cultural riches and tourist destinations of this Chinese province, strengthening exchanges between Malaysia and China.
Yin Hong, Secretary of the Jiangxi Party Committee, after highlighting the province's natural resources and cultural heritage, expressed his desire to strengthen cultural and economic cooperation with Malaysia. For his part, Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Malaysian Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, highlighted the potential of Jiangxi which includes UNESCO sites and natural landscapes, thus increasing the international reputation of the province.
The hosts also presented various specific tourism itineraries for Malaysian visitors, working with telecom operators to enhance the tourists' experience.
