Kalo Gold Advances Exploration at Vatu Aurum Project

Kalo Gold Corp., a Vancouver-based exploration company, has announced the commencement of its 2026 field operations at the Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji. The project involves integrating multiple geophysical datasets with core relogging, field mapping, and soil geochemistry. This aims to refine drill targets through geological, geochemical, and geophysical indicators.

Completed LiDAR and orthophotography surveys add to the project’s multi-platform geophysical integration. Airborne magnetics and radiometrics are planned for February, covering the 367 km² area. Historical core relogging and new multi-element geochemistry are employed to enhance target vectoring.

At Wainikoro, soil sampling refines gold-arsenic anomalies, advancing regional geochemical signatures toward defined targets. The Aurum Prime area is also under mapping and prospecting to explore gold occurrences and potential mineralized systems.

Results will guide target ranking and drilling decisions, with priorities established upon the integration of February's survey data.
