KAP AG’s Annual General Meeting Approves All Proposed Resolutions
Fulda, 12 July 2024 – KAP AG, a mid-sized industrial holding company listed on the stock exchange, announced that its shareholders approved all resolutions proposed by the Management Board and Supervisory Board at the company’s 38th Annual General Meeting. The meeting, held in person in Fulda, saw 82% of the share capital represented.
Shareholders voted to carry forward the retained earnings for the 2023 financial year, bolstering the company's capital and financing base. Other approvals included the exoneration of the Management and Supervisory Boards, the appointment of auditors for the 2024 financial year, and adoption of the 2023 remuneration report.
Marten Julius, Spokesman of KAP AG’s Management Board, commented on the challenging year marked by geopolitical tensions and rising energy costs. Julius highlighted structural adjustments aimed at increasing efficiency and profitability within the KAP Group. Despite challenges, he expressed optimism for the future.
