Katjes International Shows Robust Growth in First Half of 2025
Katjes International reported a promising start to 2025, with group revenue rising by 4.4% to EUR 164.8 million, compared to EUR 157.9 million the previous year. Operating profit (EBITDA) also saw an increase, reaching EUR 13.9 million, up from EUR 12.2 million, with an improved margin of 8.4%. This growth is attributed to effective price management, cost discipline, and efficiency enhancements.
Notably, two joint ventures performed well. "Shirin Beauty," developed with musician Shirin David, introduced premium beauty products, while "Shades Snacks Ltd." launched a successful vegan and halal-certified gummy line in the UK in collaboration with YouTuber Niko Omilana.
In July, Katjes announced a potential sale of CPK, expecting proceeds up to EUR 80 million. Additionally, Katjes is set to acquire 60% of Willy Bogner GmbH, enhancing its luxury apparel portfolio, financed by increasing an existing bond, heavily oversubscribed by investors.
With positive half-year results and strategic moves, Katjes anticipates exceeding its full-year guidance, targeting revenues over EUR 400 million and an EBITDA margin between 9% and 10%.
