Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company Announces Toasted Bourbon Batch 1 Release

Kentucky Peerless Distilling Company, based in Louisville, KY, has unveiled the first batch of its long-awaited Toasted Bourbon. The launch event is scheduled for March 16, 2024, at the company's distillery, with plans for subsequent distribution across Kentucky and nationwide. This craft bourbon features a unique double aging process involving both charred and toasted oak barrels, designed to enhance its flavor profile with notes of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, honey, vanilla, toasted spices, and chocolate.

The initial batch will offer the first 100 bottles with special numbering, followed by a bottle signing session. Interested buyers face a two-bottle limit. Kentucky Peerless emphasizes the meticulous selection of barrels for the finishing process, aiming for a bourbon that boasts less tannin and a richer, vanilla-dominated aroma. The distillery, a family-owned establishment revived by its 4th and 5th generations, is open for tours and tastings, further offering insights into its handcrafted bourbon and rye whiskey production.
