Kentucky Peerless to Launch Second Batch of Rum Barrel Finished Bourbon

Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. announces the release of its second batch of Small Batch Rum Barrel Finished Bourbon, set to begin on June 1, 2024, at their Louisville distillery. This launch follows the success of their initial Double Oak Bourbon and explores further into barrel-finished spirits.

The event will feature bottle signings from 10 a.m. to noon at the distillery located at 120 North 10th Street, Louisville. The bourbon is noted for its unique flavor profile, achieved by aging in two types of barrels, enhancing its complexity and notes. This batch is characterized by a symphony of tropical and sweet notes, creating a balanced and flavorful experience.

Carson Taylor, company president, highlights the dedication and passion of the distilling team in curating these special barrels. The bourbon offers tasting notes reminiscent of pineapple, cinnamon bread, and a tropical finish with a hint of sweet mint.
