Key Outcomes of Lenzing AG's 80th Annual General Meeting
Lenzing AG held its 80th Annual General Meeting on April 18, 2024, where significant resolutions were passed, including the election and re-election of Supervisory Board members. The assembly approved the activities of the Managing Board and Supervisory Board for the 2023 financial year. It also set the remuneration for the Supervisory Board for 2024.
Dr. Cornelius Baur was elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board, and Melody Harris-Jensbach had her mandate extended. Both will serve until the General Meeting concerning the discharge for the 2028 financial year. Dr. Markus Fürst retired from the Board.
The Supervisory Board underwent further reorganization with the re-election of Cord Prinzhorn as Chairman and Dr. Stefan Fida as Deputy Chairman. This board now comprises ten elected members and additional delegates from the works council.
In other decisions, KPMG Austria GmbH was appointed as the auditor for the annual and consolidated financial statements for the financial year 2024.
