Kibar Americas Launches Fairmont Aluminum Facility

On September 15, 2026, Kibar Americas celebrated the grand opening of its aluminum production facility in Fairmont, West Virginia. This marks a critical step in the company's expansion into U.S. manufacturing. Headquartered in Chicago, the company acquired the facility earlier this year.

The opening ceremony gathered government officials, customers, suppliers, industry representatives, and community leaders to mark this milestone. The event emphasized Kibar Americas' commitment to supporting American manufacturing, creating jobs, and boosting Fairmont's economy.

Derek Keddy, President of Kibar Americas' North America Rolling Business Unit, expressed pride in joining the Fairmont community and establishing a manufacturing presence. COO Atilla Çetinel highlighted the investment as a cornerstone in the company's North American strategy, enhancing local manufacturing capabilities.

Production has commenced at the facility, targeting the HVAC, packaging, automotive, and industrial sectors. Göksal Güngör, Managing Director of Assan Alüminyum Group, noted the strategic importance of this investment for strengthening their global platform.
