KindlyMD Secures Contract with UnitedHealthcare

KindlyMD, Inc. has announced a new contract with UnitedHealthcare Insurance, the United States' largest healthcare insurer. This agreement, effective November 1, 2024, will allow KindlyMD to serve patients covered by UnitedHealthcare, enabling reimbursement for services provided. As a result, KindlyMD will gain access to receive referrals from major hospitals and medical systems, notably enhancing coverage for its patients in Utah.

Tim Pickett, KindlyMD's founder and CEO, emphasizes that this credentialing achievement with a leading insurance provider represents a significant milestone. The existing agreements with other insurers like Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare already position KindlyMD to serve a broader patient base. The UnitedHealthcare contract is expected to reduce patients' out-of-pocket expenses and boost revenue within KindlyMD's core services.
