Kingfisher Provides 2024 Phase 1 Exploration Update
Kingfisher Metals Corp. has initiated phase 1 exploration for the 2024 field season at the HWY 37, LGM, and Thibert projects in British Columbia. The exploration includes a 1158 line-km ZTEM airborne geophysical survey at HWY 37 and LGM projects starting in late June. Additionally, VRIFY AI machine learning is being utilized across these projects.
The ZTEM results will guide follow-up mapping and IP surveys on priority targets at HWY 37 and LGM. A soil and till sampling campaign will be conducted at the Thibert Project in June, based on prospectivity modeling completed over the previous winter.
CEO Dustin Perry expressed optimism about the 2024 field programs. He mentioned that the goal of the ZTEM survey is to identify known porphyry centers and discover new systems with the help of VRIFY AI. Following the survey, targets will be rated and ranked for focused mapping and IP surveys, leading to drill targeting for potential new discoveries.
The HWY 37 and LGM projects cover 630 km² in the Golden Triangle and feature porphyry, epithermal, and VMS mineralization. Historical drillings have outlined significant mineral systems. The Thibert Project spans 130 km² and is located north of Dease Lake, British Columbia. Data collected during the Phase 1 exploration program will be fed into VRIFY AI for improved drill targeting.
