Kingstone Companies Sets FY2026 Financial Targets
Kingstone Companies, Inc., a regional property and casualty insurance firm, has announced its fiscal year 2026 financial guidance alongside additional projections for 2025. The company's key indicators for 2026 include a direct premiums written growth of 15% to 20%, with net premiums set to reach $233 million. The net combined ratio is projected to remain between 79% and 83%, mirroring 2025's predictions.
Net income per share is expected to be between $2.15 and $2.85 on a basic and $2.10 to $2.80 on a diluted basis. Kingstone also forecasts a return on equity of 26% to 36%. The company will no longer differentiate between Core and Non-Core business segments, as Non-Core now constitutes a minor portion of their operations.
The 2026 outlook relies on stable weather conditions and forecasts a decrease in reinsurance costs. Kingstone aims to expand beyond New York, potentially boosting growth and geographic diversification. The expansion is planned to be funded solely through operational cash flow.
