Klöckner & Co Supplies CO₂-Reduced Stainless Steel to GEA

Klöckner & Co has become GEA's first supplier for CO₂-reduced stainless steel, with a first delivery to GEA's production site in Bönen, Germany. This material, whose carbon footprint is reduced by around 90% compared to traditional steel, falls into the “Pro” category in Klöckner’s Nexigen® classification for “green” steel. GEA, as part of its 2040 climate plan, aims for a long-term collaboration with Klöckner & Co, considering the expansion of their partnership in the coming years.
