Klondike Gold Corp Announces 2024 Exploration Plans for Klondike District Property
Klondike Gold Corp has recently shared the details of their upcoming 2024 exploration program at the Klondike District Property in Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada. The company's exploration will initially focus on the promising Stander Zone, following the 2023 discoveries of high-grade gold veining, which revealed significant gold assays such as 90.55 g/t Au over 0.55 meters.
Peter Tallman, President & CEO, emphasized the strategic significance of these findings, suggesting the potential of Stander Zone as a crucial contributor to the historically renowned Eldorado Creek placer gold. The 2024 plans include an initial 2,500 meters of diamond drilling over a 2km strike length at the Stander Zone, with further drilling contingent on results. Additionally, surface mapping and prospecting across other parts of their extensive 727 square kilometer property are planned to identify new targets.
Klondike Gold’s strategy also involves an update of the mineral resources estimate by fall 2024, taking into account results from the 2022 to 2024 exploration seasons. This systematic exploration aligns with the company's long-term vision of establishing substantial mineral resources within the Klondike goldfields.
