Klondike Gold Corp. Announces Promising BLEG Survey Results in the Klondike District

Klondike Gold Corp. (TSX.V:KG) has revealed the results of a regional investigation on bio-leaching gold extraction (BLEG) carried out by Newmont Canada in 2023. This survey included the company's 100% owned property in the Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada. The results show that the Klondike district property contains the regional orogenic gold anomaly number one, according to several elements.

Newmont Canada conducted a total of 292 on-site samplings in the region, including 37 on the Klondike district property, in line with the company's existing exploration permits. Chemical analyses were performed in Newmont's laboratory in the United States. Indicator elements of orogenic gold such as gold (Au), tellurium (Te), silver (Ag), bismuth (Bi), copper (Cu), and lead (Pb) displayed high percentile rates among the samples.

The anomaly detected along the entire length of the property opens up new target areas requiring immediate prospecting in 2024. Two sites among these areas are already associated with large gold geochemical anomalies on the ground, while another is near old gold mining operations dating back to 1900.

The company believes that the Klondike district represents an undiscovered world-class orogenic gold belt. The presence of major crustal faults mapped by the company is associated with orogenic gold mineralization. Klondike Gold continues to evaluate in detail the dataset of 50 elements from the BLEG survey.
