Klondike Gold Discovers High-Grade Gold at Archy and Wasp Showings
Vancouver-based Klondike Gold Corp. (TSXV:KG) has announced significant gold discoveries at the Archy and Wasp Showings within its 727 km² Klondike District Property in the Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada. New assay results reveal high-grade orogenic gold mineralization, including up to 52.7 g/t Au at Wasp and up to 46.6 g/t Au at Archy.
Peter Tallman, President & CEO, highlighted the productive 2024 drilling and sampling season, emphasizing the identification of the Eldorado Fault structural corridor as a key control for gold emplacement. This corridor spans 5 kilometers and remains open for exploration, with new targets being identified.
Results from Archy show visible gold, especially in areas with coarse pyrite in quartz veins. Samples ranged from 1.3 to 46.6 g/t Au. Meanwhile, at Wasp, assays ranged from 0.3 to 52.7 g/t Au, with high values linked to quartz veins rich in coarse pyrite and iron carbonate.
