Klondike Gold Expands Stander Zone with New Drilling Results
Klondike Gold Corp. has reported promising drill results from the southeastern extension of the Stander Zone on its Klondike District Property in Yukon, Canada. In a recent announcement, the company detailed significant gold mineralization in eleven new drill holes, extending the Stander Zone's southeastern strike by 300 meters.
Notable findings include drill hole EC24-534, which intersected a quartz vein averaging 21.50 g/t gold over four meters, with highlights of 76.07 g/t gold over one meter. Similarly, hole EC24-541 revealed 4.84 g/t gold over nine meters, including high-grade intervals of 35.44 g/t gold over 0.50 meters.
According to CEO Peter Tallman, these results indicate a substantial 50% increase in the Stander Zone's strike length. The mineralization remains open, offering further potential for expansion. Klondike Gold's 2024 drilling program focused on expanding resource estimates and uncovering new gold-bearing zones, aligning with its strategic goals.
