Klondike Gold Mourns Loss of Founder Richard Hughes
Klondike Gold Corp. has announced the passing of its founder, Richard Hughes, a noted prospector in the mining industry. Hughes, who passed away in Langford, BC, at 91, was instrumental in several significant mineral discoveries, including Ontario's Hemlo gold deposit.
Founded in 1978, Klondike Gold benefitted greatly from Hughes's vision. He directed the company to the Klondike goldfields, gaining respect for his generosity and persistent efforts. His work laid the ground for the company’s current successes in Eldorado Creek.
Peter Tallman, President & CEO, extended condolences to Hughes's family and the mining community, acknowledging his remarkable contributions and legacy.
