Klondike Gold Reports New Discoveries at Stander Zone in Yukon
Klondike Gold Corp. has announced significant results from its recent drilling program at the Stander Zone in Yukon. The seven new drill holes explored the southwest and northwest extensions of the zone, highlighting potential new areas of gold mineralization.
Key results include hole EC24-526, which intersected gold zones such as 1.54 g/t Au over 27.0 meters and 10.34 g/t Au over 1.5 meters. EC24-552 and EC24-527 also reported notable gold findings, enhancing the Stander Zone's potential footprint. These discoveries suggest the zone's gold-mineralized strike length could be extended by up to 400 meters northwest and 200 meters southwest.
The drill program, part of a resource expansion strategy, indicates that new near-surface gold deposits have been found adjacent to the previously estimated mineral resource area. Additional results are awaited, but current findings hold promise for the growth of Klondike Gold's assets.
