Knorr-Bremse Reports Solid H1 2025 Results
Knorr-Bremse, a leader in braking systems, announced a robust performance for the first half of 2025. The company's operating EBIT rose to €498 million, with a margin increase to 12.6%. Order intake reached €4.5 billion, and the order book closed near a record level at €7.3 billion, despite global market uncertainties.
Revenue for H1 stood at approximately €4 billion. The free cash flow saw a significant year-on-year increase to €160 million, supported by the company's strong operational performance.
The Rail Vehicle Systems division experienced a notable growth, contributing significantly to the increase in revenues and profitability. Conversely, the Commercial Vehicle Systems division faced a sluggish market, mainly in North America, impacting its performance.
Knorr-Bremse maintains its full-year operating EBIT and cash flow guidance for 2025 but has adjusted the expected revenue range due to currency effects.
