The Flamingo Estate Bathhouse by Kohler Unveiled at Milan Design Week

During the Milan Design Week 2026, Kohler Co. in collaboration with Richard Christiansen introduces the Flamingo Estate Bathhouse. This installation merges architecture, nature, and serenity into a unified experience at the Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea. It features a bold design anchored by a brutalist bathhouse, drawing inspiration from the California-based Flamingo Estate's bathhouse.

The bathhouse showcases Kohler's Reverie enameled cast iron bath in copper, highlighting the brand's focus on craftsmanship and innovation. This centerpiece elevates the bathing experience by integrating natural elements and architectural precision, enhanced by stained-glass windows and 200 Flamingo Estate candles.

Complementing the central piece, four unique pollinator baths are displayed, promoting a narrative of coexistence with nature. Cast in Kohler's Wisconsin foundry, these installations support biodiversity through sustainable design practices.
