KTM AG Awaits Key Restructuring Vote for Production Restart
KTM AG plans to resume production at its Austrian sites by mid-March 2025, requiring EUR 150 million for a successful restart. The company is in advanced discussions to secure this financial support. However, the funding is dependent on the approval of a restructuring plan. This plan proposes a 30% payout quota, which needs to be settled by the end of May 2025. A crucial vote on this plan is scheduled for February 25, 2025.
Peter Vogl, the restructuring administrator, warns of bankruptcy should the plan be rejected. In such a scenario, a dismantling quota of 14.9% is predicted. Vogl emphasizes the appropriateness of the proposed 30% restructuring ratio. The decision by the Regional Court of Ried im Innkreis will determine the future course for KTM AG.
