Kudelski IoT, a division of the Kudelski Group, announced that its KSE5 Security IP has successfully passed rigorous testing by Applus+ Laboratories. This confirms its robustness for Common Criteria certification, crucial for industries like Automotive, Medical, Payments, and Defense.

The assessment by Applus+ included a white-box vulnerability evaluation and penetration testing, verifying the security of KSE5 against sophisticated cyber threats. The solution achieved the CC EAL 4+ certification, demonstrating its resilience to high-potential attacks and meeting the updated requirements for smart card and similar device protection.

Frédéric Thomas, CTO at Kudelski IoT, highlighted the importance of the independent validation by Applus+, noting that it underscores the robustness and reliability of the KSE5 Security IP. Kudelski IoT is partnering with a leading semiconductor company to integrate the solution into SoC designs, which will further enhance its security footprint in essential industries.
