La Française de l'Énergie Announces Robust Sales and Future Projects
La Française de l'Énergie, noted for its negative carbon footprint energy production, reported a sales increase to €26.6 million for the first nine months of FY2024. This uptick was driven by a 19% rise in electricity sales, despite challenging market conditions with volatile energy prices.
The company saw significant revenue of €18.8 million from electricity generation, influenced by improved performance in cogeneration units across France and Belgium and expanded solar capacity. Despite lower market prices, gas production yielded €6.7 million in sales. Heat sales linked to specific projects added €310k to the total revenue.
With the acquisition of Greenstat, the integration has already contributed approximately €360k from engineering and construction services related to solar energy within the first quarter post-acquisition. Looking ahead, the company maintains its market strategy by hedging future production to counteract price volatility and by enhancing local low-carbon solutions.
Future developments include new projects across Norway that are expected to bring substantial revenue gains by 2025 and beyond. This includes a new LBG and Bio-CO2 production unit in Stavanger expected to be operational by 2025 and contributing significantly to the revenue stream.
FDE is reinforcing its growth objectives by targeting annual sales beyond €100 million and an EBITDA over €50 million by 2026, alongside significantly reducing carbon emissions.
