LAfricaMobile Raises €4.3m to Lead Cloud Communication in Francophone Africa

LAfricaMobile, a platform specializing in Cloud Communication and Mobile Marketing, has secured €4.3 million ($4.6 million) in Series A funding. This announcement came during the launch of GITEX AFRICA, the Meeting of Francophone Entrepreneurs (REF), and the African CIO Awards in Marrakech, Morocco. The company plans to use these funds to bolster its presence in Central Africa and invest in integrating artificial intelligence into its products.

The funding round was led by Janngo Capital, with contributions from prominent investors including French footballers Aurélien Tchouaméni and Jules Koundé, Expensya founders Karim Jouini and Jihed Othmani, and investment funds SouthBridge Investments and Ciwara Capital. The investors express strong confidence in LAfricaMobile's strategy and potential for growth in the region.

CEO Malick Diouf stated that this financial boost would support LAfricaMobile's ambition to revolutionize mobile communication across Africa. Since its inception, the company has partnered with over 300 businesses and 60 telecommunications operators on the continent.
