Lagardère SA Announces Temporary Leadership Changes

Lagardère SA has temporarily replaced Arnaud Lagardère following his provisional ban from management activities, effective from April 29, 2024. Arnaud Lagardère, contesting the indictment, has stepped down from his roles within the group. In response, the Lagardère SA Board of Directors, following the Appointments, Remuneration and CSR Committee's recommendation, appointed Jean-Christophe Thiery as the new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Thiery's current role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Groupe Canal+ will continue.

Additionally, the Board plans to propose Jean-Christophe Thiery as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hachette Livre soon. Another significant appointment includes Constance Benqué as President of Lagardère Commandité SAS and Managing Partner of Lagardère Radio SCA. This reshuffling ensures the continuity of governance and operation across the group's various divisions, including publishing, travel retail, news, radio, live entertainment, and sports clubs.
