Lahontan Gold Begins Metallurgical Testing for Santa Fe PEA

Lahontan Gold Corp (TSXV:LG)(OTCQB:LGCXF) has commenced metallurgical testing to support its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) at the Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada. Previous tests indicated excellent heap leach recoveries for gold and silver. The goal is to develop precise economic parameters for processing mineralized rock at Santa Fe.

The testing, conducted by Kappes, Cassiday and Associates (KCA), includes comminution tests, compacted permeability studies, and preg robbing analysis. This aims to determine crushing costs, electrical consumption, cement requirements for agglomeration, and identify areas with potential issues for preg robbing.

Kimberly Ann, CEO of Lahontan, highlighted the importance of these studies for providing precise cost estimates for the PEA, expected by September 2024. The objective is to produce a detailed and accurate assessment of the Santa Fe Mine's economic potential.
