Lahontan Gold Corp Extends Gold Mineralization at Santa Fe Mine Project
Lahontan Gold Corp has announced new results from its 2025 Phase Two drilling program at the Santa Fe Mine Project in Nevada. The latest assay results from two reverse-circulation drill holes in the south Slab pit area reveal significant gold mineralization. Hole CAL25-011R showed 68.6 meters grading 0.45 g/t Au Eq, with a notable section of 16.8 meters at 0.81 g/t Au Eq. Similarly, hole CAL25-012R returned 41.2 meters at 0.32 g/t Au Eq, highlighting further expansion of gold mineralization below and southwest of the current pit.
The mineralization detected is linked to the structural control associated with the Calvada Fault zone, emphasizing its importance in future exploration efforts. Lahontan intends to integrate these findings into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and a Preliminary Economic Assessment, expected in the coming months.
