Lahontan Gold Corp Reports High CN-Soluble Gold Recoveries at Santa Fe Mine Project
Lahontan Gold Corp has announced promising results from metallurgical tests across the Santa Fe Mine project in Nevada. The tests, conducted by Kappes, Cassiday and Associates, revealed high cyanide-soluble (CN-soluble) gold recoveries in multiple deposits.
The Calvada deposit exhibited the highest potential, with 91.5% CN-soluble gold, surpassing the previously estimated 71% recovery. York deposit samples demonstrated up to 91.0% CN-soluble gold, averaging 78.4%, compared to an earlier estimate of 60%. The Slab deposit showed 69.0% CN-soluble gold, an improvement from the previous 50%.
The Santa Fe deposit's results were moderate but will undergo further testing. Preg-robbing potential was found to be very low, with only three samples showing notable risks.
Kimberly Ann, CEO of Lahontan, highlighted the encouraging results and the absence of significant preg-robbing potential as positive indicators for future operations. Further tests are planned to optimize processing workflows for the upcoming Preliminary Economic Assessment.
