LAIQON AG Appoints Axel Hörger as Chief Strategy Officer

LAIQON AG has appointed Axel Hörger to its Executive Board as Chief Strategy Officer, effective January 1, 2026. Hörger, the former CEO of UBS Deutschland AG, has been a Senior Advisor to LAIQON since March 2025. He succeeds Stefan Mayerhofer, who will continue as a senior advisor at BV Bayerische Vermögen GmbH.

The new management team, led by CEO Achim Plate and CSTRO Hörger, aims to advance LAIQON’s GROWTH 28 strategy. Hörger will oversee asset and wealth management, sales, and sustainability, emphasizing partnership networks. His extensive experience includes roles at Petiole Asset Management AG and Lombard International Assurance.

Chairman Dr. Stefan Rindfleisch highlights Hörger's expertise in capital markets and digital innovation as vital for LAIQON's strategy. Hörger expressed optimism about the company's direction and its focus on expanding in the DACH region and globally.
