Unauthorized Data Breach at SECRA Bookings GmbH
SECRA Bookings GmbH, a subsidiary of HomeToGo SE, has experienced a cyberattack on its technical infrastructure. The attack, which involved unauthorized access to customer data and personally identifiable information, is currently believed to be isolated to SECRA Bookings GmbH. HomeToGo SE's other systems appear unaffected.
Immediate containment measures were initiated by SECRA Bookings GmbH in collaboration with HomeToGo SE and HomeToGo GmbH. The initial steps have been successfully completed. While the financial impact on the group is under assessment, it remains unquantified.
The company is preparing notifications for the affected parties and will alert the competent data protection authority shortly.
