Laurent-Perrier: Financial results for the first half of 2024-2025
The Laurent-Perrier group has announced a decline in its results for the first half of the 2024-2025 financial year. Champagne sales fell by 16% compared to the previous year, reaching €128.8 million. The group's total turnover decreased by 16.7%, reaching €132 million. Operating profit also saw a significant decline of 32.4%, while net profit attributable to the group fell by 34.5%.
Despite these declining results, the operating margin remains at a high level of 30.1%. The group continues to invest in the enhancement of its brands and commercial development. The financial structure remains solid with equity of 612.3 million euros and net debt of 241.8 million euros.
The champagne market suffered from volume constraints, with a decline of 9.7%. However, Laurent-Perrier managed to partially compensate thanks to a price-mix effect of +1.5%. The group remains cautious about its outlook, due to geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
