LDC receives approval to acquire the Pierre MARTINET Group
On April 17, 2025, LDC received approval from the French Competition Authority to acquire the Pierre MARTINET Group. This acquisition, announced in May 2024, is part of LDC's 2026-2027 strategy, aimed at expanding its brands and strengthening its presence in the delicatessen salad sector. With this transaction, LDC hopes to cover 70% of the product families in the delicatessen section of supermarkets.
The Pierre Martinet Group, founded in 1968, is a French leader in delicatessen salads, known for its tabbouleh and its "Végétal" range. In 2024, it generated revenue of €230 million, supported by 700 employees at five production sites in France. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of May.
