Leadership Succession Secured at Bühler Group

Bühler Group has announced a strategic leadership transition set for 2026, affirming its enduring commitment as a family business. Samuel Schär is slated to become CEO in January 2026. Schär, with a physics background from EPFL Lausanne, has been with Bühler for two decades. His extensive leadership experience includes heading various business areas and segments within the company.

The Board will also propose Stefan Scheiber as Chairman at the February 2026 Annual General Meeting. Scheiber brings 35 years of experience, including a decade as CEO. He will succeed Calvin Grieder, who retires after 25 years in key executive roles.

This succession plan aligns with the family's long-term vision, ensuring Bühler remains a thriving, independent global technology firm.
