Lenzing AG Announces Changes in Supervisory Board
On October 10, 2024, Lenzing AG held an Extraordinary General Meeting bringing notable changes to its Supervisory Board. Newly elected members include Carlos Aníbal de Almeida Junior, Marcelo Feriozzi Bacci, and Markus Fürst, each serving until the Annual General Meeting of 2028. These appointments come amid the resignations of Nicole van der Elst Desai and Melody Harris-Jensbach.
The Supervisory Board now consists of ten members elected at the General Meeting, complemented by five appointees from the Works Council. Following the meeting, Cord Prinzhorn was named Chairman, alongside Vice Chairmen Marcelo Feriozzi Bacci and Stefan Fida. Christian Bruch also resigned earlier this year.
Lenzing AG extended gratitude to the departing members for their service and constructive cooperation. The changes aim to strengthen governance and strategic direction as Lenzing continues to focus on eco-responsible fiber production and sustainability.
