Lenzing Honoured with Vienna Stock Exchange Sustainability Award
Lenzing AG has once again earned the Vienna Stock Exchange VÖNIX Sustainability Award for 2024. The company secured first place in the 'Industrials' category, recognized for its exceptional sustainability performance in the Austrian stock market. This accolade underscores Lenzing's commitment to advancing a bio-based economy.
The Lenzing Group's consistent efforts in transitioning towards a circular economy model were highlighted by Christian Skilich, a Management Board member. He emphasized the necessity of industry-wide efforts for this transformation.
In addition to the VÖNIX award, Lenzing has received high praise from numerous environmental organizations and ratings agencies. It has retained a triple ‘A’ status from the global non-profit CDP, is in the top one per cent for EcoVadis’ CSR rating, and maintains an ‘AA’ rating from MSCI.
