Lhyfe wins grant for hydrogen production site in Sweden
Lhyfe announces an €11 million grant for a green hydrogen production site in Vaggeryd, Sweden. Klimatklivet’s support comes from a programme funded by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency and the European Union. The 10 MW site could produce up to 4.4 tonnes of green hydrogen per day, for use in the mobility and industrial sectors.
Strategically located between Stockholm and Gothenburg, the site aims to meet the growing demand for hydrogen in transport and industry. The project complements the Trelleborg unit, which is also subsidised. The subsidy covers 35% of the development and construction costs. Production is expected to start in 2027.
