Afnic adopts LightOn's sovereign AI

LightOn, a French specialist in generative artificial intelligence, announces a partnership with Afnic. This one-year contract, signed on September 30, 2025, aims to deploy a sovereign and secure AI, hosted in France. The initiative reflects the growing interest of public stakeholders in technological solutions that guarantee control of sensitive data.

Afnic, responsible for managing French domain name extensions, will rely on LightOn's Paradigm AI platform. This integration will facilitate the exploitation of internal information by employees via advanced augmented generation capabilities through retrieval.
