Linear Minerals Discovers Spodumene Pegmatites with Over 1% Lithium Oxide
Linear Minerals Corp., previously known as FE Battery Metals Corp, announced promising results from its 2024 drilling program at the Augustus Lithium Property in Quebec. Drill Hole LC24-90 intersected three spodumene pegmatites with lithium oxide grades exceeding 1%. The top pegmatite recorded 1.07% Li2O over 5.50 meters, while the middle and bottom pegmatites showed 1.00% and 1.05% Li2O over 5.30 and 3.50 meters respectively.
Besides lithium, rare metals such as beryllium, cesium, and rubidium were also found. A separate nickel intercept averaging 1906 ppm was noted. Located north of Val d'Or, Quebec, the property covers over 15,000 hectares. This news underscores Linear's strategic focus on expanding its lithium resources.
